About Us
A little about who we are and how Alleviate Sports Therapy started

Our Story
I’m Erin and I have been working as a Sports Therapist for more than 14 years.
I studied Sports Therapy at the University of Luton for 3 years and graduated with a 2:1 honours degree.
I have always enjoyed sports and have an active lifestyle and consider myself very fortunate to have represented England in the National side playing rounders between the ages of 15 -18. I also play Netball and have represented Bedfordshire County between the ages of 13 – 21.
These days however, in between bringing up a young family, I prefer playing for my local netball side on a weekly basis, badminton, swimming, walking and pilates.
Following a successful three year work placement within a professional sports injury clinic, I decided to set up my own Sports Massge Therapy business to better fit my lifestyle and deliver a more bespoke sports massage therapy to local clientele.
Who we are
A sports Massage Therapy clinic based in Bedford that provides treatments for existing and pre-existing sport injuries and rehabilitation programmes to help promote recovery and prevent re-occurrences of muscular and soft tissue injury.
We have been established for over 14 years and have built up a reputation as one of Bedford’s premier Sports Therapy clinics.
We cater for both male and female clients. Whether you are young or old, active or non-active, we have a therapy programme for you.
Sports Therapy aims at getting you returned to your pre-injury level of activity and also maintaining and improving your current active body movement.
Following on from an initial consultation, we will develop an exact course of action to address your specific treatment needs.
Our facilities
We have a professional treatment room at the Bedford clinic which has been expertly equipped and includes a specialist treatment table, ultrasound therapy machine and all the modern equipment needed to administer the correct therapeutic techniques associated with massage therapy.
Our Mission & Vision
Our aim is to provide a high standard of therapeutic massage therapy to our clients within a professional clinical environment.
It is our belief that massage therapy not only benefits athletes and normally active people but also those who would like to improve their overall wellbeing and enjoy greater freedom of movement and flexibility and thus enjoy a more active lifestyle.
Massage therapy is for everyone, young and old, male and female.
We have set very high standards in our work and will continue to do so for many more years to come.
